Positive Reinforcement Dog Trainer

As a dedicated dog trainer, I know obedience training is the foundation for turning a dog into a true member of the family rather than just a pet. When dogs understand what is expected of them and can reliably respond to cues, they gain the freedom to participate more fully in everyday life. Whether teaching basic commands like sit, stay, and come or working on more advanced skills, I love seeing the transformation that takes place when clear communication and consistent training come together.

Discover Your Dog’s Full Potential

Your dog is smarter than they let on (usually when there’s a treat involved). Every dog has the ability to learn, grow, and surprise you. No dog is too old, too stubborn or too cute to get away with unwanted and frustrating behaviors.

How You’ll Know It’s The Right Time To Start Dog Training

  • Because “my dog knows better” is usually followed by “but they did it anyway.”
  • Because your dog shouldn’t be the one training you to open the treat jar on command.
  • Because a cute face can only excuse so much chaos.
  • Because your dog deserves to know the rules before they create their own.
  • Because your dog is smart enough to learn — and clever enough to get away with things if you don’t teach them.
  • Because life is easier when your dog listens before the neighborhood hears about it.

Online Dog Training & Support

My private training lessons are designed to help your dog thrive in everyday life. Through personalized obedience training and behavior support, you’ll learn how to communicate clearly with your dog and build a stronger partnership together. They may even learn a trick or two!

Why I Got Into Dog Training In The First Place

I love dog training because dogs are hilarious, complicated and adorable.

My First Dog

I knew nothing as a first-time dog owner. Housetraining – zero. Getting my dog to ‘sit’ – nope. Taking a pill? Was not happening. Dog training made my life simpler and my dog happier. Now I’m paying it forward and loving every minute of it.

Experience

From agility courses to tricks training, I’ve explored many ways to keep dogs learning and engaged. My favorite will always be obedience because there’s something special about watching a dog and owner learn to work as a team.

Patience

I’m not known for being a patient person. It’s not in my DNA. EXCEPT when it comes to dogs and dog training. I’m committed to my clients and their dogs. You can ask me how to cue ‘Sit’ on repeat and I’ll show up all day, every day to teach you how.
